Privacy Policy

What this site collects

We collect first-party visit analytics: pages viewed, on-page interactions like clicks and scroll depth, your IP address and an approximate location derived from it, and basic device and browser information. This runs on our own infrastructure: no third-party analytics scripts, advertising tags or session recorders are loaded, and no cookies are set for it. We use it to understand how the site is used, to improve it, and to inform our own marketing. It is not sold or shared with third parties, and is retained internally.

The following are stored in your browser:

• Your day / night theme choice, so the site does not reset to dark every time you arrive.
• A flag recording that the intro animation has played in this browser session, so it does not replay on every page.
• Your sign-in session, once you create an account or sign in, so you are not asked to log in again on every visit.
• An anonymous visitor id and a per-visit session id, used to group your page views and interactions together in the analytics described above.

The first three never leave your browser, and clearing your site data removes all four (signing you out, in the case of the sign-in session). The visitor and session ids are sent to us with each analytics event, but carry no name, email or other identifying information of their own.

What you send us

If you email us (including through any "Start the Process" link, which today opens your own email client rather than posting a form), we receive whatever you write. In practice that is usually your name, email address, property address and a description of what you want to build. We use it to answer you and to run the zoning and feasibility read you asked for.

Property records, parcel boundaries, zoning districts and setback rules used in that read come from public county and municipal sources, not from you.

Customer accounts

Creating an account collects your name, street address, phone number and email address, plus whatever service and option you were looking at when you started. We use it to set up your account, save your selections, and follow up about your project. Your password is never stored by us: our authentication provider, Supabase, stores it hashed and we never see the plain value.

Account and selection data is hosted by Supabase in a U.S. region. We do not use it for anything beyond running your account and responding to your request.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. Account and selection data passes through Supabase, the infrastructure provider that hosts it. That's infrastructure, not a third party we choose to share with. Beyond that, we share it only where the work requires it (for example with a surveyor, engineer, or a permitting office reviewing your project) or where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Project correspondence is kept for as long as we may need it to support the project and to meet contract, warranty and record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete correspondence that is not subject to those obligations.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailingsales@carolinagaragecrafters.com. We will respond within a reasonable period.

Children

This site is intended for property owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

When the site starts doing more (a real feasibility form, the 3D configurator), this policy will be updated to describe it before that feature goes live, and the date at the top will change.
